It was rumored that they broke up a couple of weeks ago, but now Chris Brown has confirmed reports that he and girlfriend Karrueche Tran are no longer together. Releasing a statement via his Spokesperson, Brown says:
“I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
On the heels of this announcement, Chris Brown has been spending a lot of time with ex-girlfriend Rihanna. They two went clubbing over the weekend and went back to the same hotel and yesterday they were spotted ay Jay-Z’s concert at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Contrary to Brown moving on, Karrueche reportedly feels betrayed by the Grammy winner. According to TMZ, the model is hurt over the situation because she thought she was the only woman, even though she suspected that Brown was seeing Rihanna behind her back.
