Fantasia On TGT Rumors, Show Drama: ‘I’m A Singer. I Don’t Beef’

Fantasia says there is no beef between her and R&B super-group TGT, even though she walked off the stage they shared in Atlanta this month.

Addressing the rumored beef with the group, consisting of Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank, Fantasia said "I'm a singer. I don't beef" when asked about the incident at the Atlantic Civic Center on August 4.

"(I have) no problems with TGT. Listen Tank is on my album. All of them are sexy. I think the show that day, it was just a misunderstanding. It didn't go the way I wanted it to go," Fantasia shared on BET's 106 & Park Wednesday. "It had nothing to do with TGT. It was just with the sound. I'm a singer. I don't beef."

As widely reported, Fantasia was unable to complete a sound check prior to the show at the Civic Center and when she went to perform that night, there were horrid issues with the sound, including her background singer's mics.

“My background singers say they can’t hear. See here’s the problem ATL and you know I’m gone keep it real, real, real. Sometimes we do shows with people and they allow to get our sound checks. Sometimes they don’t. But that just only lets me know one thing…and I’m gone keep that to myself," Fantasia told the crowd. "So we are not haters. We like to perform with people. But sometimes they don’t like to perform with us.”

According to Funky Dineva, Fantasia's rant didn't go over too well because her background singer's mics were cut all together when she tried to perform her next song. That led to her walking off the stage.

Watch Fantasia explain what really happened in video below. She also talks about her album, "Side Effects of You," the upcoming film, "Lee Daniels' The Butler," and her hit single "Without Me."
