Houston Family: Bobbi Kristina Under ‘Undue Influence,’ Legal Docs Filed

Is the late Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, a “target” and under “undue influence” ? According to documents filed in a Georgia court, trustees of Whitney Houston’s estate, including her mother, Cissy, say someone has to step in keep an eye on Bobbi and estate money she is receiving.
Bobbi Kristina “is a highly visible target for those who would exert undue influence over her inheritance and/or seek to benefit from respondent’s resources and celebrity,” a small portion of the filing reads.
While it is unclear if Bobbi is blowing through funds, the family seems to imply so as they are seeking to adjust the schedule of payments she is due to receive under provisions set forth in her trust.
According to Radar Online, they are concerned that the current schedule will conflict with the intent, which was to provide “long term financial security and protection.”
“Compliance with the provisions of the trust would defeat or substantially impair the accomplishment of the purposes of the trust, which were to provide for the proper maintenance and comfort of the respondent, and to prevent the wasting of trust assets, as evidenced by the trust’s spend thrift provision,” another portion of the filing reads.
As widely reported, Bobbi Kristina has become very close with Nick Gordon, her boyfriend, since her mother’s death. The two have been living together and were involved in an accident just last week in Georgia.
As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina will also star in the Lifetime docu-series “The Houstons: On Our Own.” That series premieres October 24 at 9/8c.
