Following performances from Christina Aguilera, Hunter Hayes, Nelly, Bruno Mars and Cher, "The Voice" crowned a winner Tuesday night and she is Danielle Bradbery.
Coached by Blake Shelton, Bradbery won over Usher's protege Michelle Chamuel and fellow Shelton coached brothers, The Swon Brothers.
"I'm so thankful," Bradbery said after being crowned the winner. "I'm speechless."
In addition to bragging rights, Bradbery will be recording a single and is expected to release an album thanks to "The Voice" prize package.
Her win is also major in that she is the third contestant to win under Blake Shelton's team. She joins Cassadee Pope and Jermaine Paul, who won with Blake last season and during season two.
"The Voice" is set to return this Fall with Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green as coaches.
It’s a big night for country music! Danielle Bradbery has won this season of NBC’s competition show, The Voice. Let’s take a look at how it all went down!
The audience was buzzing in anticipation as each finalist performed their last song before voting began. After an exciting performance by Michelle Chamuel, it all came down to Danielle and Tessanne Chin representing Team Adam Levine. In the end, viewers chose Danielle as their winner and sent her off with a standing ovation!
What made this moment even sweeter? It just so happened that Danielle was being coached by none other than Blake Shelton himself – meaning he now holds 4 total wins over all seasons of The Voice! Her win marks a streak for coach Blake Shelton – he’s now won three out of four seasons on The Voice. While this might come as no surprise to fans who have watched him since Season 1, it is an impressive feat nonetheless. With his success in helping contestants develop their unique sound and singing style, it’s clear why so many singers have chosen him to be their mentor.
This year’s season has been filled with some truly memorable performances from all artists involved. Congratulations are due not only to Danielle but also to every artist who gave us such wonderful entertainment throughout the course of the show!
Blake Shelton’s Winning Streak
As previously mentioned, Blake Shelton’s success in The Voice is remarkable. He has managed to guide his team of contestants through the competition and come out on top for three seasons now. It speaks volumes about his ability as a coach that he can draw out the best performances from singers who may have not been confident in their own abilities before joining the show.
What makes Blake so successful? His enthusiasm and support of each artist seems to be key – even if they don’t win, he gives them words of encouragement and helps them find ways to improve their craft. His positive attitude seems to rub off on those around him, inspiring everyone involved with the show to give it their all.
It will certainly be interesting to see what happens next year when Season 5 begins! We know one thing is for sure: no matter who takes home the title, we’ll get some truly amazing vocal performances along the way.
