Chris Kelly, one half member of 90's hit hip hop duo, Kris Kross, died today (May 1) at the age of 34. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Kelly was discovered unresponsive in his home and was transported to Atlanta Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly and Chris "Daddy Mac" Smith were discovered by super-producer Jermaine Dupri in 1990 at Greenbriar Mall. The duo was one of Dupri's first signings to his So So Def imprint and launched the hits "Jump" and "Warm It Up." They also changed urban culture with their backwards pant fashion statement.
In February, the group reunited to perform at Dupri's 20th anniversary concert at the FOX theater in Atlanta.
