Good Morning America's annual Summer Concert Series is kicking off with a bang in May.
Breaking the news Thursday, GMA confirmed that Mariah Carey will open the annual event with a live performance on May 24. She will be followed by acts like John Legend, Selena Gomez, Ne-Yo, One Republic, Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen, Little Mix, Emblem 3 and Alicia Keys.
“GMA’s Summer Concert Series” kicks off on May 24 with international superstar and the best-selling female artist of all time Mariah Carey performing her new single from her upcoming album. This first concert will be a free, ticketed event," reports ABC.
The 2013 Summer Concert Series returns for the fifth year to the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, where music’s biggest names will perform live every Friday. All concerts are free to the public and will take place live during “Good Morning America,” Fridays from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. ET.
