Beyonce shut down the stage last night at Super Bowl XLVII’s halftime show.
The 31-year-old singer emerged to a lit up stage with two facing Beyonce profiles with a large standing fire-lit silhouette of herself, as she kicked off the big performance with “Love on Top,” while wearing a black leather short jacket dress.
As the performance went on she revealed an even sexier black leather and lace leotard, over-the-knee socks, and high-heeled boots. She went on to sing some of her biggest singles, “Crazy in Love,” “End of Time,” and “Baby Boy.”
The performance featured amazing stage graphics (reminiscent of her performance at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards), spectacular dancing, live singing, and her all-female dancers and band.
Just when things were only getting better, as expected, Kelly and Michelle popped on stage for an amazing Destiny’s Child reunion performance. They sang their classics “Bootylicious,’ “Independent Women, Pt.1” and joined for a rendition of the Beyonce hit “Single Ladies.”
After her Destiny’s Child members departed, Beyonce closed out the 12-minute show with a beautiful rendition of “Halo.”
This was arguably on of the best halftime performances in history and a wonderful platform to debut what’s to come for the entertainer. Afterward, Beyonce then took to her website to announce her next world tour, titled “The Mrs. Carter Show.”
