As if it couldn’t get any better in terms of once-in-a-lifetime-events, Beyonce stepped it up a notch from 2009 where she performed “At Last” at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball for the President and First Lady’s first dance: she had the duty of performing the National Anthem during the Inaugural ceremony for President Barack Obama’s second term today (Jan. 21).
The multi-faceted singer also performed the country’s anthem at the 2004 Super Bowl, but this rendition was vocally toned down per the occasion. She, however, still delivered a powerful and stirring vocal performance. Check out the performance below, if you missed it.
