Trey Songz may be starring in a new movie set to hit the big screen next year.
Along with Taye Diggs and Morris Chestnut, Songz is said to be in negotiations for a role in the romantic comedy “Baggage Claim.”
Based on David E. Talbert’s (“Love In The Nick of Tyme,” “First Sunday”) novel of the same name, the movie is backed by Fox Searchlight.
In an attempt to avoid being the oldest unmarried woman in her family, a flight attendant gives herself thirty days to find “Mr. Right” in “Baggage Claim.” Over those thirty days she must choose between a pastor, councilman, multimillionaire and a P. Diddy wannabe.
According to Shadow & Act, Djimon Hounsou and Derek Luke are also said to be vying for roles in this project.
As previously reported, Trey Songz will star in “Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.”
