One of the most anticipated performers on the Coachella line-up was the mysterious crooner, The Weeknd, who finally made his U.S. debut. With this performance kicking off his own North American tour (with shows that have sold out in a matter of a mere two minutes), the singer stepped on stage and was met with fans more than eager to hear him live.
Backed by a live band, Abel Tesfaye had the crowd rockin’ with nearly an hour, performing cuts off of his mixtapes, including, “The Birds (Part 1),” “D.D. (Dirty Diana),” “The Knowing,” “The Zone,” and of course, “High For This.” He even had the entire crowd singing with him on his catchy hook on Drake’s “Crew Love.” To wrap up his set, he gave fans an acoustic version of “Wicked Games.”
