Media mogul Nick Cannon is back on the music tip with a Jeremih-assisted single called “If I Was Your Man.”
The song features an interpolation if TLC’s “What About Your Friends” as Cannon talks about not being the best man when it comes to dating. “I ain’t sh*t,” she declares in the second verse.
Speaking of dating (and to further speculations), Cannon mentions TLC member Chilli on the song, who he’s been rumored to be seeing.”Hat to the back, swagged out, looking like Chilli,” he says in the first verse.
Cannon debuted this song over the weekend at the private reception to announce his role as Global Brand Ambassador with upstart technology company bBooth.
When asked about the Chilli dating rumors at the event, he replied, “That’s an amazing woman, but you got to ask her. I’m not good at dating, as the world knows,” he said. “I don’t think she would accept me,” he added. “I’m little bit of damaged goods right now.”
