The world became aware of Roc Nation songwriter BOOTS (a.k.a. Jordan Asher) with "Dreams," the Beyonce-assited cut which dropped a few months ago. Turns out, BOOTS contributed heavily to Beyonce’s self-titled fifth studio album (writing four songs and playing instruments throughout), and has since been on everyone’s radar as one to watch. Now he’s dropped his debut solo project WinterSpringSummerFall.
“WinterSpringSummerFall was recorded all over the world over the past year. Everything sounds like music to me, so sometimes when I hear things in the city or in nature, I’ll record those sounds and put them into songs. A train I heard in New Orleans ended up in [WinterSpringSummerFall song] “Dust.” So for the first and last time, here’s my whole story from the beginning,” he posted on Buzzfeed with the set’s debut.
