As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina Brown and her long-term boyfriend Nick Gordon tied the knot, and now she is asserting that she received her grandmother's blessing before making the big commitment.
Questioned by TMZ cameras on whether she asked her grandmother for her blessings on the, the 20-year-old and daughter of late music icon Whitney Houston says, “Yes, I did. She's very happy.”
New husband Gordon also added: “We did. We saw her at our cousin's sweet sixteen and she gave us her blessing.”
Bobbi also says this is what her mother would have wanted. “Oh my God, I could tear up, this is exactly what she wanted. Us together is exactly what she wanted,” she says.
The couple is planning a bigger ceremony in 2015 to celebrate with their family, including Whitney's mother Cissy Houston.
Bobbi asserts: “What we can tell you is that next year (15) the ceremony will be beautiful."
