Following his 2012 project “Songs About H.E.R,” singer-songwriter Emanny releases the 8-track EP “Songs About You” on which the Bronx-bred artist focuses strictly on the “You” in the title with the concentration being relationship life. On “So Amazing,” the familiar-sample works with his falsetto and MJ-inspired adlibs, while “I Messed Up Again” leaves the singer full of regrets. And it wouldn’t be an Emanny project if there weren’t bedroom cuts via “Confessions of a Nympho” and the previously released “Would You Mind,” while “Tub of Milk” has some major throwback undertones. Frequent collaborator/emcee Joe Budden jumps on track number five, “Miss Me.”
