Cee Lo Green will soon face allegations that he spiked a woman's drink and raped her in downtown Los Angeles.
According to recent reports, the Los Angeles Police Department has been investigating for at least five months and will present findings this week that will determine whether or not Green will be prosecuted.
"A woman accused the singer of spiking her drink with ecstasy at a Downtown LA sushi joint last year. She claimed the next thing she remembered was waking up in a bed naked with Cee Lo in the room. She also claimed to have a recording of Cee Lo repeatedly apologizing and referencing MDMA … although sources close to the singer called BS," reports TMZ.
Green, who is currently mentoring and judging contestants as a coach on "The Voice," avoided charges last year due to a lack of evidence, but with the current investigation, sources say toxicology tests and additional witnesses may come into play.
The District Attorney's office is due to hear the case later this week.
