The cat fight between Keyshia Cole and Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams seems to have run its course.
After a recent interview, where Williams stated that she wanted to speak with Cole about the whole situation, it seems the two have connected and put aside their differences.
As previously reported, Keyshia Cole launched verbal attacks at Williams following something "malicious" she wrote on Twitter about one of her performances. "I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michell(e) sung and woke my ass up from my daze! She always fuckN the groove up," Cole wrote on Twitter following Destiny's Child's Super Bowl XLVII performance.
Cole's comments backfired, and she has since been in hot waters with millions of Destiny's Child and Beyonce fans.
"I can't wait to see [Keyshia Cole] in person so we can talk and say 'Hey, what happened?' I will say this, I was a major fan of hers. That's my first time even saying that. I understood her story and was rooting for her," Michelle said recently, which prompted the two converse about the situation.
For the public eye, Cole issued her apology on Twitter yesterday (Sept 8)writing, "@RealMichelleW I apologize for the mean things I said, it hurt me when I went to your page and saw what u said during my performance. And that still doesn't make it ok. I said what I said out of anger. And that's the absolute WRONG time to say things."
About 45 minutes after her apology, Williams acknowledged it by writing, "Apology accepted @KeyshiaCole! We had an amazing conversation and I also say sorry for ANY misunderstandings! I'm so happy this happened!"
But it didn't end there. Cole still wanted closure over the situation, so she put Michelle on the spot by inquiring, "@RealMichelleW so can u admit to erasing the tweet that was said about me? So people know that anger came from a hurt place malicious?"
Williams has yet to reply to Cole, but hopefully this beef is dead in waters.
