Universal singer/songwriter Andreena comes serious with her debut 22-track album Naked, a compilation of songs representative of being emotionally exposed when it comes to taking a chance on love. Headed by the prelude “Breathe” and the single “My Boo,” the Toronto native contributes to the production credits, along with Hit-Boy, Bass Line, Ricky Tillom Snaz and Spinz for a combination of full tracks, skits, and interludes.
It begins with the vocally-lush “Naked” then heads into the simmering banger “F.T.L” (Forever Type Love). She makes the track shed tears on “Song Cry,” even taking on a few bars, and spittin’ again on “That’s What Love Will Do.” She asks for good parenting for the sake of future generations on “The Ones”: “Fathers be good to you daughters, and mothers be good to your sons / Cause they will, they will, they will be the ones, to lay you down when your soul is ready to fly, to build a brighter future or you and I,” she melodically sings.
