Frontman of British vocal group Nu-Soul, Just Frank is stepping out solo with his debut EP The Intro, a mix of originals that showcases his future direction, and covers to acknowledge those who’s influenced him.
The five-track acoustic set begins with two originals, "Social Injustice," a ballad which touches on the concept of free will in the context of social inequality, and "Dreams," which samples Tracy Chapman's "Cars." Just Frank’s cover of Tyrese’s "What Took You So Long" gets a stripped-down makeunder; dope in its simplicity. He then goes on to cover Aretha Franklin's "Angel" and Lyfe Jennings' "Midnight Train" respectively, both tunes also getting the Just Frank spin.
