"Half of It" and "V.S.O.P." singer K. Michelle is gearing up for some road travel this Summer, including an upcoming concert at New York's Highline Ballroom.
K. Michelle broke the news Tuesday, confirming that daytime talk show host and author Wendy Williams will host the show.
"On June 6th, I will be live in concert at The Highline Ballroom hosted by @WendyWilliams!" K. Michelle shared on Twitter.
The concert leads what is slated to be a 10-city summer tour, coinciding with the release of K. Michelle's anticipated full-length debut album, "Rebellious Soul."
"I’m really at a point in my life where I wanna work on myself and just be happy,” K. Michelle offered in a statement. “I don’t want any drama. I just want to create that music that makes you feel so good.”
In related news, K. Michelle has tapped both Elle Varner and R. Kelly for the album, which is due to arrive July 30.
Dates for her tour are to be announced in the near future.
