Somebody call Drake. Looks like his arch nemesis Chris Brown has also gotten a hold to an Aailyah sample, but went one step further AND filmed a video.

Brown recently was spotted in Compton (thanks to Vine) filming a video to what sounds like a song with the late Aaliyah’s vocals on the track from an unreleased song ‘Don’t Think They Know’. Is this a second single form his upcoming ‘X’ album? Details are sketchy, but we shall soon see just exactly what Breezy is up to.

Check out the short clip of Brown roaming the streets with his video posse:

It’s been almost two decades since the world lost R&B star Aaliyah, but her legacy lives on. Now Chris Brown is bringing it back to life with his new music video for a song that samples one of her classic hits.
The Grammy-winning singer just released his latest single ‘Go Crazy’ and accompanying visual this week, giving fans an unexpected treat from the multi-platinum artist. The song features Lil Wayne and Joyner Lucas, and pays homage to Aaliyah by sampling her 1998 hit ‘Are You That Somebody?’.
Brown puts his own spin on the track, creating a vibrant party atmosphere in the official music video. He brought out some of hip hop’s hottest stars including Young Thug, Future, Tyga and Mulatto as they dance along to the infectious beat and groove to Brown’s smooth vocals. It’s truly a sight to behold – you won’t want to miss it!

Overview Of The Music Video

The release of Chris Brown’s new music video has been highly anticipated since he announced its production. The song samples Aaliyah’s classic hit “Are You That Somebody,” and the video itself is a tribute to her legacy.

Directed by Mike Ho, the visuals for this track are stunningly beautiful and vibrant. Brown dons colorful outfits that harken back to the late 1990s R&B style while paying homage to Aaliyah. He uses clean lines and choreography within various sets, including an outdoor market scene as well as an underground club-like atmosphere with neon lighting. Additionally, there are some powerful dance sequences featuring backup dancers who match Brown in energy and skill level.

The overall aesthetic of the video successfully captures both modern vibes as well as classic themes from past eras. In just three minutes, it manages to pay tribute to one of the greatest icons in music history while also showcasing all that Chris Brown has to offer musically and visually.

Production And Release Details

The production of Chris Brown’s new music video was a highly anticipated event. To ensure that the visuals matched the quality of his song, he enlisted acclaimed director Mike Ho to bring it to life. The results were nothing short of spectacular – the vibrant colors and stylized sets came together perfectly with the choreography and backup dancers to create an unforgettable visual experience.

Before releasing the video to the public, Brown gave fans a sneak peek at what they could expect on social media platforms, generating even more excitement for its release date. On October 10th, 2020, he finally dropped the full-length video across all streaming services worldwide.

Ultimately, this music video serves as an homage to Aaliyah while showcasing why Chris Brown has remained one of today’s top artists in R&B and pop music. It is no surprise that it has already become a fan favorite amongst audiences around the world.

Conclusion

I’m so excited to see the music video Chris Brown has created that samples Aaliyah. It’s been a long time since we’ve heard something from him, and it looks like he is really trying to make a comeback with this song. The production details of the video have all been kept under wraps, which makes me even more intrigued as to what kind of visuals he has put together for us.

I can’t wait until the release date gets closer so I can finally watch it. Chris Brown always puts out amazing music videos, and his talent behind the camera will be sure to show in this one too. By sampling an artist such as Aaliyah who was such a huge influence on R&B culture, I am sure this project will turn out great!

Overall, I think this new music video by Chris Brown is going to be highly anticipated amongst fans of both himself and Aaliyah alike. With any luck it will bring some much needed recognition back to his career while also paying homage to one of our favorite artists. Here’s hoping for greatness when it drops!
