We thought we knew all about Ne-Yo, but this one caught us by surprise. The R&B singer-songwriter revealed that he was married 11 years ago when he was 19. Confirming the news to TMZ, Ne-Yo admitted, "Wait, actually, yeah, when I was like 19. It wasn't even for like a year."
The reason the news is finally coming to light is simple. "Nobody really knows that. Nobody ever really asked," he adds.
Apparently the marriage only lasted a few months before the couple got an annulment. Ne-Yo claims she wanted him to choose between her and music, so he went with his first love, music.
He explained in the below video: " I wanted to do this [music] and she didn't want me to do this, and this is honestly the only thing I've ever loved. Now I'm here and I don't know where she is."

Ne-Yo is currently engaged to Monyetta Shaw and the couple has two kids, Madeline Grace and Mason Evan.
