The Houston family has reached an agreement in their highly publicized court battle over Whitney Houston’s estate.
According to TMZ, the family has agreed to have Bobbi Kristina receive a slightly adjusted portion of the planned allowance granted in Houston’s will, which is reportedly three separate payments amounting to an alleged total of $20 million.
Sources say Cissy and Bobbi Kristina are happy with the current plan, taking court officials out of the equation.
As previously reported, Pat Houston vehemently denied rumors that Whitney was broke at the time of her death. Appearing on “The View” last week, she said the “I Will Always Love You” diva left a sum of money behind (she denied talk of it being $20 million).
“First of all, there is no $20 million. That is a total misconception there, okay. She did not die broke and that is all I will say,” Pat Houston shared on “The View.” “There is no $20 million and she wasn’t broke when she passed.”
As previously reported also, the family is starring in the Lifetime series “The Houstons: On Our Own,” airing Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.
