Chris Brown would like Dr. Numb, a topical numbing cream, to stop using his name and likeness.
According to a lawsuit filed in federal court this week, Brown says the company that produces the product has been using his name and likeness for promotional efforts and it has to stop.
Sources say Brown’s team contacted Shin Sachi Pharmaceutical but they “blew off his demands to stop using his name and image to promote “Dr. Numb.”
As of Thursday, the company is still featuring Chris Brown in a video discussing the product on its website. That 30-second video is however from a radio interview, not an actual endorsement ad.
