Maybe there’s some truth to the rumors that Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj aren’t getting along on the American Idol set! While auditioning singers in Charlotte, N.C yesterday (Oct. 2), taping had to be temporarily halted due to a spat between the two divas. TMZ, as always, got first dibs on the video.
The blurry video shows the barrage of the argument coming from Nicki, who cusses out an exasperated Mariah, while Keith Urban and Randy Jackson try to calm the ladies down, but are no match for Nicki’s wrath.
Nicki’s audible comments include “I’m not going to take it back, and if you’ve got a f—ing problem, handle it. I told them, I’m not f—ing putting up with her f—ing highness over there,” says Minaj. Carey responds by saying “Ohhhhh, why, why, why?” “Figure it out!” Minaj yells over and over.
Mariah took to Twitter yesterday with a simple “Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?” but the tweet was soon deleted.
Sigh. The season just started for Pete’s Sake. Can’t we all just get along?
