Vegas was jamming this weekend! On Friday (Sept 21), the iHeart Music Festival commenced in Las Vegas with performances by multi-genre radio heavy-hitters like Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Green Day, and Miranda Lambert. R&B was represented as well, with performances by Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole and Usher appearances.
Friday saw Usher take to the stage (photos below). Opening with the energetic “OMG,” the entertainer also performed “Yeah,” “Burn” and his later hit “Climax.” Rihanna, the radio queen herself, performed a slew of hits such as Cockiness, Birthday Cake, Talk this Talk, and many more.
Keyshia Cole was brought out on Lil Wayne’s set to perform her hit “Enough of No Love,” debuting a new hairstyle.
Saturday saw Mary J. Blige rocking out with a surprise guest appearance from the legend Prince. He played background on her hit remake “Sweet Thing,” then the two performed “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
