Cupid, the recording artist best known for the “Cupid Shuffle,” made an unexpected appearance on “The Voice” (NBC) Monday.
Claiming he went on to show the world he has more to offer than the popular dance song that has become a family reunion, wedding and special event staple, Cupid unfortunately fell short as none of the four coaches turned around.
“It was fun and interesting,” said Christina Aguilera. “I almost pushed my button. You were very entertaining.”
Given an opportunity to perform another song, Cupid impressed the coaches but was not granted an opportunity to advance in the competition.
Hopefully “The Voice” platform will give him other opportunities as he does have vocal talent to do more than the “Shuffle.”
