The long child custody battle between R&B superstar Usher Raymond and his ex-wife Tameka Foster has come to an end…or has it?
On Friday (Aug 24), Usher was granted primary custody of their two sons Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd. During the legal battle, Usher was accused by Foster that his career would hinder his ability to raise the children, and Foster was accused by Usher as being the irresponsible parent due to various incidents. Foster said she always wanted to keep the joint custody agreement the two previously shared.
But now, Foster is allegedly vowing to appeal the ruling, reports TMZ. She believes that the judge gave a biased ruling towards Usher because, according to a campaign contribution report, Usher’s lawyers donated $1,278 to the judge’s 2008 re-election campaign. Sources tell TMZ that Foster is also perplexed about how the judge could give custody to the parent with the more hectic lifestyle, while she has a more settled schedule. Foster is reportedly speaking with lawyers to plan the appeal strategy.
It ain’t over till it’s over.
