Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson was spotted yesterday (August 20) filming scenes for NBC’s hit series “Smash” in Washington Heights, New York City. While on set, the Grammy winner also played more to son David Otunga Jr, who accompanied her to work.
Hudson, who was snapped rocking a purple top matched with black leggings before later slipping into a comfortable cardigan robe, will appear on multiple episodes on the upcoming season of “Smash.” She will play the role of Veronica Moore, a Broadway star.
Miss Hudson recently touched on the new project insisting, “It’s just the perfect opportunity, it’s gonna be challenging, and I’m a little bit intimidated to play this big Broadway star. But it’s gonna be a great experience. I can’t wait to get started.”
“Smash” is set to premiere early next year.
