Jeepboyz Music’s Chantel vows to take you back to the 90s with her debut mixture “Back in the Day.” Her first single covered Zhane’s “Sending My Love” and was accompanied by a laid back video that sent 90s kids back into time. Produced by Kenneth “Soundz” Coby (who worked with Usher, Brandy, Trey Songz, Justin Beiber, and Kelly Rowland), the album has a modern groove mixed with 90s vibes, even including an interlude of channel surfing 90s television.
“My album BACK IN THE DAY” is all 90’s inspired music; growing up in the 90’s and how good music felt back then. It’s all about bringing that feeling back”, she explained to Soul Train.
