Mary J. Blige will be assisting “The Voice” judge/mentor Adam Levine as an adviser this Fall.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Mary J. Blige so it’s been great having her on The Voice,” Adam Levine told Rolling Stone Monday.
Following guest judging and mentoring roles on American Idol, Blige will fit right in advising aspiring recording artists.
She follows Robin Thicke, Ne-Yo and Monica, who have been acted as advisers on previous seasons.
Michael Buble will also act as an adviser this season. He will accompany Blake Shelton’s team.
Returning for a third season, “The Voice” premieres Monday, September 10 on NBC.
