Lolah Brown used the tutelage of working as a background vocalist for Keri Hilson and John Legend to prepare her for stepping out as an solo artist. The Cleveland, Ohio native drops her debut album ‘Black Lily,’ a twelve track project that plugs listeners headphone directly into her life. Brown is candid and open in her introduction; she offers all aspects of her life experiences so that fans can understanding where she is going in the future. Though she is the standout on the album, she has several feature collaborations with BJ the Chicago Kid, GLC and Jerreau of Fly Union.
Rather than ask for monetary funds in exchange for her album, she allows a free download of ‘Black Lily.’
