Van Hunt will support his third studio album ‘What Were You Hoping For?’ with a series of live dates beginning this summer. Kicking off June 21 in San Francisco, the electric rock, soul, funk musician will make stops in New York, Atlanta and Canada, where he will be part of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
Hunt’s new album ‘What Were You Hoping For?’ is a continuation of his musical experimentation. “I was more making a philosophical comment that essentially says we have all these unspoken issues in our society. But I see a collision of those ideas and unresolved issues. My question is what could you have been hoping for when we make the kind of decisions in our society that we have made,” Hunt previously stated about the project’s title.
