Wasting no time at all, Justin Bieber took to YouTube to release a 20-second teaser clip for the video for his latest single “Boyfriend” off of his forthcoming album ‘Believe’. The 18-year-old teen sensation had just wrapped up the video shoot with director Colin Tilley, and raved about how fans would love the video. The steamy clip starts off with the Biebster rapping in a dark-lit room before a bunch of hands reach up to touch him.
While on the set of the video, Bieber told MTV News that it’s not a typical video with a storyline concept. “I mean it’s not like a steady concept. It’s not like ‘Justin follows this girl to this spot,'” he explained. “No, it’s a bunch of amazing scenes: Like a fire scene, we have an ice scene.”
“It’s kind of like bouncing back and forth,” he said. “And then there’s scenes of me and just a bunch of girl dancers, and just some great shots, great artistic shots, great shots of me smiling. It’s fun.”
The single is co-written and produced by Mike Posner, and is currently available for purchase on iTunes now
