As her debut season as an American Idol judge draws near, singer Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are preparing for their new show Q’Viva! The Chosen. The new journey, which is a partnership between pop-Latin superstars, director-choreographer Jamie King and American Idol creator and XIX Entertainment CEO and founder Simon Fuller, will see the husband and wife team embark on what’s being described as “an epic three month long journey to create the ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance.”
During their travels, Lopez and Anthony will visit remote Latin locations in the Americas (North America, Central America and South America) and the show will incorporate three languages.
“This is a show for the 21st century with an unprecedented global and local story,” says Jennifer Lopez. “The Latin culture is a tapestry that is rich in passion, tradition and artistry. We are going to places where all of this talent lives and wouldn’t have otherwise been discovered. This journey for me and Marc is going be exciting and groundbreaking.”
No network partner has been announced for the show as yet.
