We Break The Dawn singer Michelle Williams is busy getting ready for a freshly inked stint in Broadway’s Chicago ! Set to play the role of Roxie Hart, Williams is due to take over for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz February 8. A veteran to the theatrical stage, Williams previously played Roxie Hart in a London West End production of ‘Chicago’ in 2009. While Williams is excited about the stint, sources say it will be a limited engagement, booked through March 28. Williams’ previous credits include Aida and The Color Purple. Often recognized for her stint in Destiny’s Child, Williams has released three solo efforts, including the 2008 R&B/pop album “Unexpected”.
