Beyonce Gone Fierce For Rescheduled Malaysia Concert

Beyonce will perform in Malaysia after all. Two years after canceling her debut concert amid fears of protests by Muslim groups, sources say the MTV Video Music Award-winner will perform on October 25. Placing an announcement via Marctensia online, organizers say Beyonce will perform at Bukit Jalil national stadium, just outside the capital late in the week. In 2007, Beyonce’s first concert was deemed to have been canceled because of a scheduling conflict but local sources claimed demonstrations from Islamic groups were a concern. Beyonce is not the first artist to cancel or postpone shows in the country. Rihanna canceled a show in the country earlier this year after being asked to cover up and wear less “revealing” clothing on stage. Beyonce has not confirmed the stop. SRC: AFP
