After dropping the buzz singles “Next One,” “Jealous Type” and “Lipstick” over the summer, former OMG Girl Bahja Rodriguez drops her solo EP It Gets Better.
The aforementioned songs don’t grace the set, but the 19-year-old Atlanta singer Bahja puts forth six-track introduce herself to the world as a solo artist. On the project, she offers some chill tracks (Place, Maybe), and some fun tunes like “Don’t Need Yo Money,” which features spicy horns, satisfying harmonies, and a jamming’ groove that has her trumping real love instead of gold-digger aspirations. Jacob Lattimore guest appears on the duet “Ride Or Die”
