If you were expecting an Outkast comeback happening anytime soon after the recent release of Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” Remix, featuring the Outkast duo – Andre 3000 and Big Boi – don’t get your hopes up. Andre 3000 has confirmed that these are not in fact Outkast collaborations, nor a tease for a possible Outkat reunion, and that he was unaware of the possible inclusion of his former rap partner. He even sent out a statement to SPIN magazine to get the record straight with his fans.

“It’s important for me to be clear about the origins of my contributions to ‘Pink Matter’ and ‘Sorry.’

I was approached as a solo artist by both Frank Ocean & Tip. I discussed musical direction with each artist and completed my verses. It was after that when Big Boi’s name came up.

I never want to mislead our audience – I worried that some would think these were Outkast collaborations. These songs are not Outkast collaborations. I discussed this rationale with Big, Frank and T.I. and everyone agreed. That is why I was surprised to read about these remixes.

I understand that anyone can put out an unofficial remix to any song but I have an obligation to be honest with fans about what this is … and what it isn’t.”

As of now it seems “Pink Matter” may be the closest fans get to an Outkast reunion since their last official Outkast appearance on 2006’s Idlewild project.

It’s been over a decade since Outkast, one of the most beloved hip-hop groups in history, released an album. Fans have longed for their return to the music scene ever since, but recently it seemed as though they might be reuniting – until now. Andre 3000 has finally spoken out and confirmed that recent Big Boi remixes were not collaborations with him as part of Outkast. This news has come as a huge disappointment to fans all around the world who had held onto hope for so long – read on to find out more about this story!

When Big Boi released his three track EP ‘Boomiverse’ earlier this year, many took it as a sign that perhaps OutKast was getting back together at last. The tracks featured some classic beats from both members of the group; leading people to believe that maybe they really would be making new music together. However, when asked by GQ magazine if these songs meant he and Andre 3000 were working on something again, Andre responded “no”. He went on further to clarify that despite how good the remixes sounded, there were no plans for any collaboration between them anytime soon.

The confirmation from Andre 3000 is sure to be devastating news for die-hard OutKast fans everywhere who had dared to dream of seeing them perform together once again. Despite still being hugely popular after all these years apart, it looks like we may never get another chance to hear them work together in harmony like before…

Background To Big Boi And Andre 3000’s Musical History

Big Boi and Andre 3000 are two of the most influential hip hop artists in history. Forming Outkast together, the duo has released several iconic albums including Stankonia (2000) and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2003). As a result of their success, both Big Boi and Andre 3000 have become household names within the hip-hop industry.

Recently, rumors began to circulate that new music from Outkast was on its way. Reports suggested that Big Boi had been remixing some of his old songs with help from Andre 3000. However, those reports were quickly denied by Andre himself. He clarified that although he was involved in the process, these remixes did not constitute an official collaboration between him and Big Boi as Outkast.

This statement left fans confused but excited for what might come next from either artist individually. With each solo project demonstrating unique styles and sounds, it’s clear why fans want more material from them both regardless of whether they’re working together or separately.

Explanation Of The Recent Remixes

The recent remixes from Big Boi featuring Andre 3000 were not an official Outkast collaboration. Instead, they served as a chance for the two artists to work on music together while still maintaining their individual identities. This was made clear by Andre himself, who emphasized that these mixes didn’t represent any new material from the legendary hip-hop duo.

What this means is that fans should expect more solo projects and collaborations from both Big Boi and Andre 3000 in the near future. While many were hoping for an Outkast reunion, it’s likely that each artist will continue to focus on their own paths musically rather than reuniting under one name.

With each artist having such a unique sound, there’s no doubt that what comes next will be exciting. We can only hope that some of their individual ventures might eventually lead them back to working together again – even if it isn’t under the guise of Outkast.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it is clear that Andre 3000 and Big Boi are two of the most influential musicians in modern music. Despite not collaborating on any projects for many years, they have still managed to keep their unique bond alive through remixes. It is heartwarming to know that even though they have gone down different paths musically, each musician has immense respect for the other’s talents.

Big Boi’s recent remixes featuring Andre 3000 were a pleasant surprise to fans around the world who had been waiting for an Outkast reunion for some time now. Even though this was not the case, it still gave us a glimpse into what could be if these two talented individuals decided to join forces once again. I’m sure we all hope that one day soon they will come together and create something special like only they can do.

The fact that Andre 3000 confirmed those remixes weren’t collaborations between them shows how much love he has for his former partner and friend. We should celebrate both artists’ successes individually while holding out hope that one day there might be another joint project from Andre 3000 and Big Boi as Outkast!
