Beyoncé is reuniting Destiny’s Child at Coachella and fans are going crazy!
“Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child are reuniting,” a source told Page Six. “It was teased, rumored, squashed, so nothing much else was said. . . But it’s happening.”
This news comes just hours before Beyoncè’s headlining set later tonight and hours after she shared the below message to fans.
“I am so excited to see the BeyHive tonight at Coachella,” Beyonce wrote on Facebook. “We have been working hard and have a special show planned for you so please be safe and stay hydrated. We need your energy! There will be an hour intermission before my performance, so mark your spot, charge your phones, grab your drinks. Can’t wait to see y’all at 11:05pm!”
The source added that this surprise was an effort “to make up for the fact she was unable to perform last year” while the Pretty Hurt’s singer was carrying twins, Rumi and Sir Cater.
“The girls really wanted it and felt they owed it to the fans,” adds the source.
Just when we thought the girl power couldn’t get any powerful this weekend — Beyoncé wins, again. And if you’re late to the party: yes, you’ll be able to stream Beyoncé and her 100 dancers live on YouTube tonight at 11pm PT / 2am ET. Maybe a good nap and a loud alarm clock will prepare you for another internet-breaking performance from the Queen.
