Taken from Diplo’s new EP California, the Major Lazer founded single “Color Blind” featuring newcomer Lil Xan now has its own vision.
The duo premiered the track on LA’s Power 106 last week and performed it for the first time ever at The Wynn’s Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas. Released via Columbia Records, the video for “Color Blind” was directed by Austin Peters.
California is the first solo project Diplo’s released in five years and has already amassed over 30 million internet streams. The album was named after the state in which it was recorded. He’s begun a new pattern as his debut album was named Florida, after the state he grew up in.
The six-track EP feature appearances by Trippie Redd, DRAM, Lil Yachty, Desiigner, Santigold, Goldlink and MØ in addition to Xan.
Diplo continues to tour the world over, with stops in Pakistan, Brazil, Nepal, Bangladesh, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Croatia, and more while being the world’s most in-demand producer, creating hits for Britney Spears, M.I.A., and Lil Yachty.
Lil Xan is scheduled to perform at this year’s Billboard festival.
