Just a few days after announcing the much-anticipated fan-generate tour, Detroit rapper Big Sean has decided to kill the entire idea, at least for the time being.
Using Twitter to deliver his saddening news, he explained why the tour would be no more. He owes the tour’s cancellation to being stuck in a creative space in which he can’t part from.
“To all my fans: I’ve been in a deep creative space and decided I need to stay focused in the studio – so, unfortunately, I am postponing my upcoming tour,” Sean explained. “I learned in life you have to follow your intuition – I hope you do the same. Thank you for your continued love and support. It means the world to me. Trust, we are working on something special for you all.”
Big Sean closed out with a promise to deliver something special to his fans (most likely an album), but we will wait and see.
The rapper released his last solo project, I Decided, in last February and followed it up with the collaborative offering, Double or Nothing, alongside superstar producer Metro Boomin, which was released last December 2017.
