On June 16th this year, the first teaser trailer of the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me arrived on what would be the late rapper’s 45th birthday. Now today (Sept 13th), on the 20th anniversary of his death, the second teaser trailer has arrived.
Directed by Benny Boom, the movie stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. in the leading role. The movie will be narrated by Danai Gurira, who plays Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur (who passed away in May).
The clip says the movie is “coming soon,” so a theater arrival date is still up in the air (I’m guessing the first or second quarter of 2017).
