Ky-Mani Marley romanced his woman on “All The Way,” now he’s back with the second single from his sixth studio album, Maestro, called "Fancy Things.”
It’s another romantic offering about a special lady who prefers to forego the material things for sensual lovemaking. “And she said, ‘baby please / You can keep all your fancy things, all I want honestly is for you to make love to me,’” he sings.
The inspiration for the song comes from Marley being in touch with the needs of a woman. He tells FADER, "I was raised in a home full of women: my mother, my three aunts, and my grandmother. The women that raised me taught me to never be afraid to love, never be afraid to show your emotions, or to say 'I love you' and mean it."
Maestro (which features his brother Damian Marley, Matisyahu, Gentlemen and Kreesha Turner) is slated for release on June 30th.
