Critically acclaimed faith rapper Lecrae calls out other mainstream rappers for their lyrical content on his new single "Nuthin," a single from his upcoming album Anomaly.
On the song, which borrows from Luniz's 1995 hit "I Got 5 On It," the reformed drug dealer suggests the rap games needs something new.
“They ain’t talkin bout nuthin / They be talkin bout the same old thang, Imma have to call a foul in the game / A lil money now you all OG, talkin bout it’s all eyes on me,” the hook states. The song ends with Crae talking about unity.
“I think we were made for more than just telling stories about how much money we can get from selling poison to people, it’s time to talk about who we are and who we can be. We need to build each other, not pull each other down.”
Anomaly will drop later this year. Listen to Crae's self-proclaimed "hater" message.
