Letoya Luckett
Former Destiny Child band mate, two times Grammy award winner, and Platinum selling artist, Letoya Luckett made her debut as a solo artist in 2006 with her hit single, “Torn.” When fans heard the song, Letoya’s voice came alive. It was like why she was hitting that extraordinary voice for so long. Letoya was able to stand on her own two feet and receive commercial success as an artist. Outside of singing, Letoya is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and an actress. Letoya owns her own boutique store in Houston. She also made her main screen debut in the TV movie, Preacher’s Kid with R&B singer, Tank. She also had recurring role in the television series, Treme and the Vh1 television series, Single Ladies. And the H-Town native is back at it again in the studio recording her third solo record, Until Then. Ms. Letoya is a prime example of remaining independent and don’t let anything hold you down. Biggie would respect Letoya’s ongoing love for music and entrepreneurship because she understands the ins and of being an independent woman.
