Toni Braxton
Ms. Braxton or the “First Lady of LaFace Records,” is an icon in R&B music for many reasons. Toni blessed us with her sultry voice when she sang, “Love Shoulda Brought You Home,” in 1992, and it hasn’t left our sight since. Ms. Braxton has sold 66 million records, a mother of two, a television personality, a spokesperson for autism, managing her financial affairs, catering to her health needs, and recorded a top-selling album with her musical husband, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. We were proud to hear Toni and Babyface are back at it again when they released their first single “Hurt You.” And “Unbreak My Heart,” will always be her signature song because it is so poignant and unforgettable at the same time. Even though Biggie didn’t collaborate with Toni, he would understand that Toni has so much flair and class. The Notorious B.I.G. might have also liked the fact that this small package has some big assets. You can never be mad at the assets.
