“N!&&@ LOVER!!!”

What!!! (I thought we were past that?)

How did Kim Kardashian feel as these two venomous words were spewed at her allegedly by an eighteen year old antagonist?

How did Kanye West feel as he raced to defend his future wife against an eighteen year old boy screaming hateful comments?

In the midst of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday and during the Barack Obama administration, it seems so many things have changed in regards to race relations yet there are moments like this that bring us right back. It is no secret that race has always been an issue in the United States of America. We can’t hide the fact that interracial relationships were discouraged and even against the law at a certain point in our history.

It’s 2014, but has it gotten better? Studies show that the amount of interracial marriages has progressively increased since the 1980s and is quickly growing in the early twenty-first century.

The U.S. Census Bureau reported:

1960 – 149,000 interracial marriages.
1980 – 651,000 interracial marriages
1990 – 1,348,000 interracial marriages
2000 – 3,000,000 (5.5 % of all marriages) interracial marriages

I guess it’s not time to get all Martin Luther King Jr. on you, but there is no way you can think about this situation Kimye situation without thinking how history and social opinion have played a part in the actions of all parties involved. Kim and Kanye must have been racing and thinking about so much throughout this ordeal.

Does it burn the heart of a black woman when she sees “her” successful black man with a white woman?

Does a white man feel a subtle jealousy when a beautiful white woman is on the arm of a black man?

Studies have indicated that, in general, Caucasians tend to disapprove of interracial marriages, and blacks tend to approve.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are obviously aware that they are involved in an interracial relationship and are celebrities, but it seemed these two realities collided in this situation and it seemed to take Mr. West over the edge.

Kanye West hasn’t been an angel in anyone’s eyes, but in this case, asks yourself this question: What would you have done in a situation like this?

Before you give us your valued feedback, let’s quickly recap what actually happened. Police say the named suspect was identified as Kanye West by the victim and several witnesses. Mr. West had left the location prior to officials’ arrival.

The source tells PEOPLE, "Kim was walking into a furniture meeting for their new home. Kanye was there ahead of her for the meeting. So Kim gets there and walks into the building with a million paparazzi trailing her."

The source goes on to say that a Caucasian man began yelling racial obscenities to the paparazzi, then when Kardashian told him “that wasn’t cool” then the man began to yell at her about her and Kanye. [N!&&@ LOVER]

"At this point Kim was seriously afraid for her life," the source continues. "He was going nuts. Kanye came down to help her but then the guy ran into a chiropractic office so Kim and Kanye walked in after him." The man verbally confronted West with obscenities, and at one point West hit him – "barely," the source insists.

So I ask, should Kanye West get a pass for allegedly assaulting an eighteen year old boy because he was defending his fiancé from a verbal assault? Did he jump the gun instead of waiting for the authorities?

So, you may have heard about the recent allegations against Kanye West. Apparently, he got into a physical altercation with a teenager who allegedly called him and his wife racial slurs. The incident occurred outside a Beverly Hills medical building and resulted in the teen being taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the altercation.

This news has sparked quite a debate online. Some people are defending Kanye’s actions, saying that he was justified in reacting violently to such hateful language. Others are condemning him, arguing that violence is never an acceptable response to words, no matter how hurtful they may be.

So where do you stand on this issue? Should Kanye West get a pass for allegedly assaulting this teen over racist slurs? Let’s explore both sides of the argument and see if we can come to some sort of conclusion about what is right and wrong in this situation.

The Debate Surrounding Kanye West’s Alleged Assault

Can we really justify Kanye West allegedly assaulting a teen over racist slurs? It’s a tricky question that has divided people on social media and in the news.

Some say that violence is never the answer, while others argue that racial slurs should not be tolerated, and perhaps even deserve a physical response.

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, it’s clear that Kanye’s alleged actions have sparked an important debate about racism and violence.

On one hand, many believe that using physical force to combat hate speech only perpetuates more hate and violence. Others argue that if we don’t take a stand against bigotry, then who will?

At the end of the day, whether or not Kanye gets a pass for his alleged assault depends largely on your personal beliefs about justice and equality.

While there may be no easy answers to this complex issue, one thing is for sure: it’s up to all of us to create a world where hate speech is unacceptable and marginalized communities are protected from harm.

The Ethics of Reacting to Racist Slurs with Violence

Reacting violently to racial slurs perpetuates a cycle of hatred and does nothing to address the root problem. While it may be tempting to lash out in anger when faced with racist comments, violence only serves to escalate the situation and create further division between people.

It’s important to remember that responding with aggression only reinforces negative stereotypes and plays into the hands of those who seek to sow discord.

Instead of resorting to violence, we should look for more constructive ways to address racism in our society. This could involve having difficult conversations about race, challenging discriminatory attitudes and behaviors, or supporting organizations that work towards racial justice.

By promoting understanding and tolerance, we can help break down barriers between different groups and build a better future for all.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that we should simply ignore instances of racism or hate speech. However, there are more effective ways of dealing with these situations than physical violence.

We need to find ways to hold people accountable for their actions without resorting to aggression ourselves. By standing up against racism in a firm but peaceful manner, we can demonstrate that discrimination has no place in our communities.

Conclusion

So, should Kanye West get a pass for allegedly assaulting a teenager over racist slurs? The answer is no.

Violence is never the answer to solving problems, especially when it comes to dealing with racist behavior. It’s important to remember that reacting with violence only perpetuates the cycle of hate and discrimination.

Instead, we should focus on educating individuals on the harm that their words and actions can cause. We need to have open and honest conversations about racism, prejudice, and discrimination in order to create a more inclusive and equitable society.

This is where true change can happen, not through violent reactions or retaliation. Let’s work towards building a world where everyone feels valued and respected regardless of their race or ethnicity.
