Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s “Revolutionary” Music Streaming App Launches This Month

Music lovers get ready for another innovative way to obtain music that you enjoy.

Hip Hop heavyweight and music mogul Dr Dre and business partner Jimmy Iovine will launch their new Beats streaming music subscription service on January 21, 2014.

The service will kick start with over 20 million songs from all major and independent labels, and will be priced for $10 a month.

“We wanted to build a music service that combined the freedom of an on-demand subscription service – unlimited, uninterrupted streaming and downloads of tens of millions of songs – but layer on top features that would give you that feeling only music that moves you can give," reads a statement from Beats Electronics.

The service will cater to it’s users in several ways including selecting songs based on moods, location, genre, etc.
