Pure Heroine
The album is entitled ‘Pure Herione,’ with the lead single ‘Royals’. In short, it is all about pure uncut women power for Lorde. There is a subtlety yet a sense of strength in her voice and sound. She embodies what a woman is and is not afraid to show it despite being only 17 years of age. Regardless if you are loyal to the R&B flag, her commitment to being a strong, brave and talented woman is something to commend. Her call for woman power is no different from the call from R&B artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, Jazmine Sullivan, Adele or many other strong female artists that have come before.
