We have come to love and adore the energy and unorthodox ways of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All a.k.a OFWGKTA b.k.a Odd Future. This talented band of chaos has given us the privilege of Frank Ocean, Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatershirt, and now ladies and gentlemen, The Internet. This 5some consist of Odd Future’s members, Syd Tha Kyd & Matt Martians along with band mates Patrick Paige, Tay Walker, and Christopher Smith.
It might be hard to imagine Odd Future members being serious musicians. However, Syd and Matt have been honing their musical craft since they were teenagers and even with Odd Future. Syd was a writer, producer and DJ for the group, while Matt wrote and produced also. Their use of actual instruments put them in a different space, exposing their musical genius and talent.
The Internet forces you to forget image and focus solely on their undeniable vocal and production talent. Their latest release “Feel Good” is that indeed; dabbling in the genres of soul and funk, providing the need for an instant head nod, finger snap and a two-step. Their current single “Dontcha” is sweet and bold; something to groove to. With over 60 shows under their belt in one a year time span, The Internet is set to change the face of music.
